Looking for GED testing in Hawaii? The General Education Development (GED) examination is only offered in pencil and paper format. Usually to be able to sit for the GED examination the test taker must be older than 17 years old. The GED examination cost in the state of Hawaii varies from $40 to $90.

The GED test consists of five tests: language arts (reading), language arts (writing), mathematics, science and social studies. Each section of the test awards a score between 200-800. Most states require students to receive a score of 410 on each of the five topics and an overall average of 450 for the GED test to pass.
