Looking for GED testing in Alaska? The General Education Development (GED) examination is only offered in pencil and paper format. Typically in order to sit for the GED test the student must be at least 17 years old. The GED examination cost in the state of Alaska varies from $40-$90.

The GED test covers five topics: reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Each test awards a score between 200-800. Most states require students to receive a score of 410 on each of the five topics and an average of 450 for the GED test to pass.
